THE financial problems facing Naomi House Children’s Hospice means that the full ambitions for a £12 million extension may not be realised.
The hospice fears that it will have to wait years rather than months before being able to access £5.7 million frozen in a failed Icelandic bank.
Naomi House chairman Khalid Aziz said that while building work would continue Jack’ Place – the new extension for teenagers – it might not be possible to open all six beds as planned by next Christmas.
