THE Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police Authority has granted £1,500 towards the repair of Stockbridge’s CCTV cameras.
The three cameras, at different points in the High Street, were installed in 2004 and for the past year the parish council has been wondering whether to replace, restore or remove them.
The cameras were put in for a five-year period which ends in March and thanks to the £1,500 grant the cameras can be upgraded to get them back in good working condition.
