Heidi Talbot singing in Basingstoke
Heidi Talbot is performing at The Forge on 31 October at 8pm.
She came to prominence as lead singer with the Irish-American supergroup Cherish the Ladies and has since attracted wide critical acclaim with her expressive singing and her latest album In Love and Light.
From Scottish |tradition ballads to Tom Waits via the vintage Ink Spots hit Whispering Grass, Heidi complements a diverse spectrum of influences.
Joining Heidi will be Boo Hewerdine who is a prolific singer songwriter whose songs have been recorded by the likes of Eddi Reader, Clive Gregson and Christine Collister.
Joining both of them will be celebrated fiddler John McCusker.
