ANDOVER motorists are over the moon to see a petrol station back open again for business - and with a new mini Waitrose.
The Shell garage, on Weyhill Road, has reopened after being closed for nearly four months while undergoing refurbishments.
And it seems drivers are thrilled to be able to use the station once more with a new mini supermarket inside to boot.
"I am over the moon it has reopened," said Andover car dealer, David Blairz.
"I am a local van and car dealer down the road so it makes all the difference to me plus it's quality fuel," he added.
Many others agreed, with one taking to Facebook to write: "Yeah man, I've been waiting for it to open for too long. Can have my morning routine back."
While another added: "I can't say how over the moon I am for this garage to be open. My favourite petrol station ever."
As previously reported in The Advertiser in March, Test Valley Borough Council approved plans for the garage to undergo a refurbishment to include a new Waitrose branch.
