WET conditions did not prevent Andover ace Richard Spencer-Fleet from bagging points in the latest round of the Ducati Trioptions Cup.
The third round of the series was at Donington Park and the weekend started off badly as a small crash in practice meant the team had to rebuild the bike
They managed to get the bike out for qualifying, but only managed to place in 21st.
The first race was an eventful one as a few crashes saw the race red-flagged with a five-lap dash to the finish following.
Spencer-Fleet finished outside of the points, but knocking 0.8 seconds off of his PB.
Race two was also weather affected and Spencer-Fleet shot forward from 16th to seventh by the first corner.
Keeping it steady in the rainy conditions, he finished in ninth.
Spencer-Fleet said: “I’m absolutely chuffed to have finished in the top 10. Cannot wait now for Brands Hatch in three weeks’ time. Now we’ve tasted the points, we want more.
“Massive thanks to all sponsors and supporters that make this happen.”
