BRITISH GP2 (Moto2) rider Jake Archer from Andover competes in round four of the championship next weekend.
Racing at the famous Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, Archer will continue his improvement with the Kalex Moto2 machine of Team Kovara Projects by RS Racing.
The Andover rider managed two fourth place finishes in the last round at Donington Park.
The British Moto3 champion made good progress as he adapts to the much more powerful and bigger Moto2 machine in 2019.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a successful time at the 2.4 mile circuit last season albeit on the Moto3 machine.
The championship raced on the circuit in Kent four times over the season.
In the July event Archer took victory in both races.
At the final round of the season he was runner-up to his teammate in race one before returning to the top step for the third time in four races at the circuit.
Archer said: "I am not expecting to repeat my performances from 2018 on the new Moto2 just yet, but I’m really looking forward to racing at Brands Hatch.
"It is a track I like and have had good results at in the past. So I’m going with a positive attitude and each time I get out on the Moto2 I’m improving. It isn’t too far from home so we also get good support.”
