Andover 3rd 38 Farnborough 1st 0
Andover 3rds were crowned champions of the Counties 5 league as they defeated Farnborough last weekend.
With both teams already having secured promotion, it was down to the last game of the season to see who would also be crowned league champions.
Andover, sponsored by Velocity Strength and Conditioning gym, took control from the start and never took their foot off the pedal.
Before long Harry Ward snuck in for the first try which was superbly converted by Tommy Gentleman.
Great work from Craig Allen and Lloyd Heggie won Andover a penalty again slotted home again by Gentleman.
Harvey Maloney was next to get on the score sheet with a great try and once more Gentleman added the extras.
As hard as Farnborough tried, they couldn't get through the defence of Jack Lucker and Graham Fowles.
After the break, Harry Ward grabbed his second under the posts with Gentleman converting easily.
On as a replacement, club favourite Simon Preece was next to score after some powerful running again converted by Gentleman.
Just as the game seemed to be coming to an end, skipper Jason Corney who had the final say, crashing over from a scrum with Gentleman fittingly converting for the last points of the day.
After the match Coach Dan Gillan said: "This is a testament of how well the club are doing as a whole, now for the challenge of going into Counties 4 next season."
