Andover Triathlon Club put on a tremendous showing at the Wales Long Course Weekend, the largest multisport festival in Europe.
With over 11,000 athletes from 56 nations competing in the scenic Pembrokeshire coastline, the Andover triathletes rose to the challenge and kicked things off on Friday evening with a strong showing in the swim event.
Nick Grace, Sophie Gilbert, Jeremy Burgess, and Helen Daniels all tackled the challenging 2.4-mile swim in choppy conditions.
Saturday saw Jacqui Taylor, Sophie Gilbert, and Nick Grace conquer the punishing 112-mile cycling leg, a true test of endurance with its hilly terrain.

To cap off an incredible weekend, Sophie Gilbert then went on to complete the full "hilly & hot" marathon run on Sunday.
Gina Graham also secured an age group win in the 10k (VW60) with a time of 1:06.49, while John Kane dominated the VM55 category in the half marathon, finishing in 1:36.06.
However, the star of the show was Sophie Gilbert as she completed all three events at the grueling Ironman distance of 140.6 miles in an outstanding 15 hours and 53 minutes.
Nevill Breach, Jane Dyson, Naomi Ledger, Toby Ledger, Les Carruthers, Fiona Minx, and Chris Edwards also put in strong performances across various events throughout the weekend.
John Kane from the club said: “We had a fantastic time as a club, meeting and competing with other athletes from all over Britain and creating lifetime memories”
The club have now set their sights on their own event, which will be held on Sunday, July 14.
