FOOTBALL fans across Andover crowded around televisions, gathered in pubs and waved flags as they watched Spain beat England in the Euro 2024 final.
Fans poured into the town’s pubs and many held parties to watch the game, in the hope that football was coming home.
Residents did not disappoint in showing their support for the team - wearing England tops, props, face-paint and flags for the tense ending to the tournament.
Regulars and football fans enjoyed the match at pubs around the town, including in the Foresters Arms, where both teams were represented, with only one set of supporters left devastated.
Despite all the support, Lady Luck was not England’s side - as a late Spanish goal stole the win and the cup from the England team.
