AT the last Cabinet meeting before Christmas the leader of Hampshire County Council announced that he was giving the £50K that would be saved from the winding up of SEERA to the Tory Totton council.
This will pay for the town council's ACSO's (Accredited Community Support Officers) who had previously been subsidised by Tory New Forest District Council.
Cllr Thornber must know that Totton Town Council conservative administration has reserves of over £360K, well over what is recommended by the district auditor.
This is a clear example of playing politic's with public money.
How is it that this £50K was not shared around to help some other areas in Hampshire where anti-social behaviour exists.
Cllr Alan Dowden, Hampshire County Council, Baddesley Division.
