PRIME Minister Rishi Sunak may or may not be right in his recent decision to appoint David Cameron as Foreign Secretary, but I believe somebody holding such a senior post should be in The House of Commons and not The House of Lords where they are not directly answerable to elected MPs.
Junior health ministers and junior transport ministers I can go along with but not in a very high post indeed.
In theory, a prime minister can sit in The House of Lords, but it would not happen in practice.
Lord Cameron should have instead re-entered The House of Commons through a parliamentary by-election.
Secondly, I would urge readers to write to their MP on the issue of teenage vaping and urge tighter restrictions.
Test Valley Borough Council recently supported a motion by former mayor Iris Andersen on this issue.
The dangers of vaping have unfortunately been underestimated and the Government needs to take action.
