ANDOVER Chamber Choir is delighted to report that its Christmas carol concert at St Mary’s raised £1,287 for Andover Foodbank.
We would sincerely like to thank, via the Advertiser, all those who bought tickets for the concert and contributed to the retiring collection.
By keeping our costs as low as possible we are able to support local charities while helping to maintain live music in the town.
It can still be a challenge to attract audiences back to live events, but it is so important to keep such events going and to attract younger people – the audiences of the future.
Our next concert on 13 April includes Fauré’s ever-popular Requiem and will again be in support of a local charity.
