THE notice of the hustings meeting, in the Advertiser of June 14, at St Mary’s on Thursday 20 June is very interesting (and will have taken place by the time of the issue of the next Advertiser) but it should be pointed out that because of boundary changes, many of the villages south and west of Andover are no longer in the constituency of North West Hampshire.
Instead the Pentons, Shipton Bellinger, Grateley, Amport, and a fair number in Anna Valley, and more, are all now part of Romsey and North Southampton - which doesn’t sound very local, does it, though our potential new MP has already been on a tour of the area.
