SO then, these new Stagecoach buses look brilliant however they are absolute rubbish inside for any disabled person wanting to travel on them.

Yesterday myself and my disabled friend only just managed to fit on the bus coming into town from the hospital. She has to walk with a frame and there was already a large pushchair onboard.

What has happened in order to gain more fare paying passengers, they have added a new double seat in what was on the other buses an open area enabling both pushchairs on one side beyond the driver’s cab and one to the left hand side behind the boarding doors to the bus.

All my friend could do was block the gangway causing an obvious major health and safety issue and thank god no elderly passenger wanted to get off on the way down to the buses final destination at the Andover bus station.

The driver was so disgusted that he took several mobile phone pictures to show his boss.

It’s pure greed taking out the extra double ‘disabled’ seats it’s no good at all.

Forget the timetable changes although they are also totally rubbish for Andover people and completely very badly planned by Stagecoach.
